Pengertian Teknologi Pendidikan

By definition, technology is applied knowledge. As we apply our knowledge to our home, work, and education, we use technology daily without thinking much about it. Technology should be a way in which we improve our lives. In education, technology is using our knowledge to improve what and how we and our students learn, grow, and develop on many levels .

Technology :

1. Human innovation in action that involves the generation of knowledge and processes to develop systems that solve problems and extend human capabilities.
2. The innovation, change, or modification of the natural environment to satisfy perceived human needs and wants.

Educational technology - Using multimedia technologies or audiovisual aids as a tool to enhance the teaching and learning process.

Technology education - A study of technology, which provides an opportunity for students to learn about the processes and knowledge related to technology that are needed to solve problems and extend human capabilities.

A complex, integrated process involving people, procedures, ideas, devices, and organization, for analyzing problems, and devising, implementing, evaluating and managing solutions to those problems, involved in all aspects of human learning .
